Company Supports Government Contracting with Historically Black College and Universities
ATLANTA, GA (May 2015) – HBCU Direct, LLC (HD), a marketing collective specializing in HBCU relations, has been recognized for its successful 2014 by the U.S. Institute for Excellence in Commerce for the educational consulting category. In 2014, HBCU Direct continued its mission of bridging the gap between corporate and government entities and the nation's 100+ HBCU's.
“We are once again excited to be recognized for our service to the HBCU community and we plan to do much more in the near future.” said HD CEO/Executive Director and Morehouse College graduate Rod Chappell.
"Our work allows us to help prepare future business leaders and entrepreneurs to access opportunities in the government contract fields” added Chappell whose events company Grassroots Promotions has produced the BET Black College Tour for more than a decade.
The 2014 year marked the company won a five-year contract to provide engineering and computer science students at Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida.
